Construction of the Des Croisières Wharf

Sept-Îles Port Authority

The new Des Croisières Wharf in Sept-Îles was a massive and ambitious tourism project. Able to accommodate ships up to 350 m long and carrying 2,500 passengers, Sept-Îles is now on the map of the largest bulk carriers and cruise ships in the world.
Sitting on reinforced concrete caissons, the wharf can withstand the impacts of berthing and major docking loads. Three dolphins and three galvanized steel walkways complete this modern maritime equipment whose future is bright.
